If a serious, karmic planet, such as Saturn, is in the First house, the person may have some kind of birth defect, perhaps a limp or a birthmark on the face. You can see if someone looks healthy or sickly, or if they have straight or curly hair. Is this person shy or outgoing? Are they quiet or chatty? The body parts ruled by this house are the head and face. It represents our sense of self awareness, and how we respond to other people in social situations. It shows our dispositions and mannerisms, and general outlooks on life. The First House is ruled by Aries, and is the personality that we show to the world, the face or façade, and the physical appearance. They each have value, and even if a person doesn't know their birth time, by casting a Solar chart they should see many similarities or issues that say the same things in different ways than the Natal chart.
