The trailers, and the game's opening, have alluded to the fact that this is the moment our hero will die in the series. The things we do know, beyond the grand scale of the game itself and all the tech, is Batman and his allies will fight a good number of the Rogue's Gallery that populates Gotham City. You are given the opportunity to be a part of the heroic setting that is Gotham City, and players have learned just how dangerous those mean streets are, how ruthless the villains can be, and how Batman must always muster up the strength in order to save Gotham.
Whether its the Hush, Scarface, Killer Croc, Firefly or the multitude of others that populate the pages of Detective Comics, you get a sense of the epic landscape that the series created.
Looking back, the series has captured the depth and darkness of Gotham, its scope, and the wide array of characters in the Batman universe.
